Your privacy is important and we respect it. On this website, personal data are collected in various places and in various ways. These data are kept in a Mol d’Art secure database. Mol d’Art under no circumstances passes on these data to third parties, unless for the performance of a sales agreement we call on external services (such as transport services) who will then work exclusively under our orders.
Personal data that are automatically obtained
When you visit our website and when you use our search function, the technical characteristics of your request are automatically kept in log files on our servers. These technical characteristics involve the URLs called up of the pages that are consulted on our website, the IP number of the visitor, the time period of the request, the http referrer URL or the URLs of pages of other sites that were consulted to arrive at our site, the size of the screen, the browser used and suchlike. We do not (even if such a thing were possible) look into who uses what IP number at what time and thus we do not trace your identity from these data. These data are kept for a few months and exclusively used for statistical analyses of the use of the site and to improve its content, operation and user-friendliness.
Personal data that are obtained via registration and forms
Certain functions on the website (such as placing an order in the web shop) can only be used after registration forms have been filled in. These require users to fill in their contact details (such as name, e-mail and postal address), unique identification details (such as username and password), demographic information (such as postcode) and financial information (such as account or credit card numbers). This information is kept and used for the processing of orders and the sending of information about our company, exceptional special offers and electronic newsletters.
If you subscribe or unsubscribe for one of our e-mail newsletters, then the technical characteristics of your transaction will be kept for a few months along with your e-mail address. In addition to this, your e-mail address will exclusively be used for the sending of the newsletter concerned over the full duration of your subscription. You have the right to use an e-mail address that cannot be traced to your person. You can always unsubscribe for each of our newsletters, in a reasonable way that is mentioned under every issue of the newsletter concerned. Should this not work for one reason or another, we will delete you from the list of subscribers on receipt of a written request.
Contact forms and e-mail
If you fill in and submit a contact, registration or information form on one of our websites, or send us an e-mail, then the data that you send to us will be kept by us along with the technical characteristics for as long as is reasonable according to the nature of the form and of your message so as to be able to answer, settle and/or justify in full in response to your message. In addition, your message can be placed directly in our e-mail archive, where as a result of backup procedures and the legal archiving obligation it can be kept for 7 years.
