Your privacy is important and we respect it. On this website, personal data are collected in various places and in various ways. These data are kept in a Mol d’Art secure database. Mol d’Art under no circumstances passes on these data to third parties, unless for the performance of a sales agreement we call on external services (such as transport services) who will then work exclusively under our orders.

Personal data that are automatically obtained
When you visit our website and when you use our search function, the technical characteristics of your request are automatically kept in log files on our servers. These technical characteristics involve the URLs called up of the pages that are consulted on our website, the IP number of the visitor, the time period of the request, the http referrer URL or the URLs of pages of other sites that were consulted to arrive at our site, the size of the screen, the browser used and suchlike. We do not (even if such a thing were possible) look into who uses what IP number at what time and thus we do not trace your identity from these data. These data are kept for a few months and exclusively used for statistical analyses of the use of the site and to improve its content, operation and user-friendliness.

Personal data that are obtained via registration and forms
Certain functions on the website (such as placing an order in the web shop) can only be used after registration forms have been filled in. These require users to fill in their contact details (such as name, e-mail and postal address), unique identification details (such as username and password), demographic information (such as postcode) and financial information (such as account or credit card numbers). This information is kept and used for the processing of orders and the sending of information about our company, exceptional special offers and electronic newsletters.

Newsletters
If you subscribe or unsubscribe for one of our e-mail newsletters, then the technical characteristics of your transaction will be kept for a few months along with your e-mail address. In addition to this, your e-mail address will exclusively be used for the sending of the newsletter concerned over the full duration of your subscription. You have the right to use an e-mail address that cannot be traced to your person. You can always unsubscribe for each of our newsletters, in a reasonable way that is mentioned under every issue of the newsletter concerned. Should this not work for one reason or another, we will delete you from the list of subscribers on receipt of a written request.

Contact forms and e-mail
If you fill in and submit a contact, registration or information form on one of our websites, or send us an e-mail, then the data that you send to us will be kept by us along with the technical characteristics for as long as is reasonable according to the nature of the form and of your message so as to be able to answer, settle and/or justify in full in response to your message. In addition, your message can be placed directly in our e-mail archive, where as a result of backup procedures and the legal archiving obligation it can be kept for 7 years.

Personal data that are obtained through the use of cookies
Cookies are used on this website to record personal data. A cookie is a file that on visiting a website is automatically saved on the hard drive of your computer from the server. As the website can recognise the computer on a subsequent visit, the access to the site is simplified and all data do not need to be entered again. Cookies are used to adapt a site to individual preferences and help in the analysis of the proper operation and use thereof.

Mol d’Art uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service that is offered by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies to analyse use of the site. This information (including your IP address) is transferred to and saved by Google on servers in the United States. Google uses this information to be able to report on the use of a site and to offer other services regarding website activity and Internet use. Google may provide this information to third parties if Google is legally obliged to do so, or provided that these third parties process the information on behalf of Google. Google will not combine your IP address with other data that Google has at its disposal. You can refuse the use of cookies as indicated above. By using this website you give your consent to the processing of the information by Google in the way and for the purposes described above.

Showing of advertisements and clicks
The showing of advertisements and clicks can be recorded by Mol d’Art and the advertisement networks in which Mol d’Art participates. When you click on an advertisement, the technical characteristics of the click are saved in log files that are kept for a few months for the financial statements. We do not (even if such a thing were possible) look into who uses what IP number at what time and thus we do not trace your identity from these data. Mol d’Art may participate in various networks (Google Adwords, Webgains, Ad Pepper, Yahoo, etc.). Each of these advertisement networks has its own privacy policy.

When we receive or transfer your data on our website, we always use the coding technologies that are recognised as accepted standards within the IT sector

We have applied the necessary security measures to avoid the loss, unlawful use of or changes to information that we receive via our site. Exceptions: misuse, obligations
If in our opinion misuse or improper use of our facilities can be said to have taken place, we may temporarily or permanently deny access for given IP numbers and/or e-mail addresses. For forms of misuse whereby third parties are harmed with respect to their interests, we may make the data concerned available to these third parties. For cases of misuse we take all possible measures to make a statement or initiate legal proceedings against you.

Right to access
You have a right to access and improve the data that we save. To this end, send a written request by registered post with a copy of your identity card to Mol d’Art bvba at the following address:

Deletion of the contact list
Whoever no longer wishes to be contacted by Mol d’Art can simply announce this via e-mail to info@moldart.be. Your data will then immediately be deleted from our files.
